Weekly rant on the Scotsman newspaper.

I was walking through Edinburgh today and noticed posters on the bus shelters about the fear of cancer from mobile phones.  These posters were in fact there to advertise The Scotsman newspaper. What was once a high class newspaper has now sunk to the level of the lowest daily rag. It is now only a collection of scare stories (despite the articles not reflecting the headlines) designed to increase sales. Have they not learned from May's election that this form of negativity does no one any good. If they want to sell more papers then why cant they not research and verify the truth of the stories they print. It is time for a well researched and as unbiased as possible paper to be made available to people who do not have the necessary time to trawl the net or the expense of buying different papers to get a varied opinion on the days events.
